For now, just 13 goals for 2013. There are another 200 coming soon for my routine 2’13′ goals in 2013.

“To join in, download the image below. Then open it with PowerPoint or any picture editing software you normally use. Add in text boxes and save it as your own version. Not much space so you’ll have to be concise.
Write a blog post which links back here and includes the main image above {with the chevrons} as well as your own version of your 13 things.
That’s it! Pretty simple.

What are you looking forward to in the upcoming year?

I like the goal of reading 50 books! That’s just under 1 per week, so it seems totally do-able. I may have to try that myself. Good luck on making your goals for 2013 and have a happy new year!

Alison, this year I caught mono and was bedridden for almost six weeks. I’m on book 108 for the year, so I am hopeful that I can manage 50 books without being stuck in bed!

Addie, I read 107 books so far this year (I have one to finish tonight to make it 108) so I figure I can do 50. I had mono this year and was in bed for six weeks, so I figure not getting it in 2013 is going to help me NOT read 108 books!
Love the goal of 50 books! Hopefully there are some on your list that are not professional reads- it’s good to take a break and enjoy something fun!
Most are non-professional reads, actually. I read a lot of YA fiction because my students recommend books, and I want to be able to talk to them about their reading!
